I was born and raised in Pennsylvania but moved to Western Michigan almost 2 years ago. I fell in love with Wayland the first time I came to look at a house here and now proudly call it home.
I spent most of my life raising 3 children as a stay-at-home mom and worked part time jobs for fun. I have owned my own dog grooming business, was a cosmetology teacher and am currently in real estate. In PA, I worked at a Garden Center where I was taught all about trees, plants, flowers and shrubs.
Gardening is my favorite pastime. I have redone the landscaping in my front yard and have a vegetable garden during the summer. In the past I had my own backyard greenhouse where I grew several citrus trees.
Being the Farmer's Market Manager is going to be very challenging, but a lot of fun. Moving the market to its new, bigger location, I get to watch it grow. I'm looking forward to more vendors and customers to buy their products. They do say variety is the spice of life!
I can't wait to meet you all and look forward to serving you!
