WERC ProgramSBDC Writing a Business Plan is scheduled for October 26, 2015.

Wayland Main Street’s Economic Restructuring Committee (WERC) has partnered with Grand Valley State University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to present an evening program which includes a Meet & Greet dinner at Vibrant Grains Bakery & Restaurant prior to the two hour workshop.  WERC Program’s primary function is to help existing downtown businesses increase their competiveness and provide them tools for expansion. WERC invites all area business owners, entrepreneurs and interested community members to attend this workshop.

SBDC Writing a Business Plan is designed for individuals who want to increase their chances for self-employment success. The workshop covers business planning in detail. Specifics of marketing, finance, legal, regulatory issues, operations, information based planning and management are key components of this program. The first steps for creating a business plan draft will be included. Live examples of effective business plans are used as workshop material.

Cost for the dinner and workshop is only $10.00 per person. Seating is limited. If you wish to attend make sure you purchase your ticket and Rsvp for the dinner by Monday, October 19.
